UniFOA firma parceria com a Prefeitura de Volta Redonda para executar projetos com participação dos cursos de Engenharia
O UniFOA firmou novas parcerias com a Prefeitura Municipal de Volta Redonda durante reunião na última quarta-feira (20), no Campus Olezio Galotti, em Três Poços.
O presidente da FOA, Eduardo Prado, recebeu os secretários de Administração, Cláudio Franco, e de Desenvolvimento Econômico, Sérgio Sodré, que solicitaram apoio dos cursos de Engenharia para projetos relacionados à energia elétrica.
Também participaram as coordenadoras da Engenharia Ambiental, Engenharia de Produção e Área Básica de Ingresso (ABI), Samantha Grisol; e da Engenharia Elétrica e Engenharia Mecânica, Izabel Mota; com as presenças do professor Renato Donato Viana e do assessor Márcio Lins.
A instituição contribuirá na execução de reforma da rede elétrica, desenvolvimento de subestação e instalação de gerador do Palácio 17 de Julho.
Segundo os secretários, essas necessidades se devem ao aumento da demanda de energia dos últimos anos.
“Nós contamos muito com essa parceria e agradecemos esse apoio, pois somente assim vamos conseguir realizar esses projetos. Confiamos na eficiência da instituição, dos cursos de Engenharia e de outras áreas também”, ressaltou Cláudio Franco.
Outra demanda que contará com apoio do UniFOA é a atualização das plantas arquitetônicas de 92 escolas municipais. Em todos os projetos, os estudantes dos cursos de graduação participarão ativamente, mais uma oportunidade que agregará na experiência dos futuros profissionais.
“Contamos com a inteligência acadêmica do UniFOA também para enxergar melhorias que podemos fazer. O que vocês tiverem de propostas, já têm nosso apoio”, garantiu Sodré.
O presidente da FOA reforçou que o Centro Universitário de Volta Redonda está sempre à disposição da Prefeitura de Volta Redonda. “Podem sempre contar conosco para trabalhar pelas melhorias da nossa cidade. Estamos de portas abertas”, afirmou Eduardo Prado.
